Poll: Which Facebook Give Good Health Advice?

No, if you ask Harvard health specialist, William Shrank, which calls the Facebook "Wild West" when it comes to health information.
This is because your team conducted study on popular social networking site that has found that many health recommendations came from those soliciting the FDA unapproved products and services.
Outside of diabetes 15 related pages of Facebook, 27% of the comments were from people promoting FDA not sanctioned products or methods.
The Harvard team recommends the following.
"Policymakers should consider how to ensure transparency in promotional activities, and patients can find social networking sites developed and patrolled by health professionals to promote the exchange of accurate information and impartial"
I admit that there are people on Facebook, trying to take advantage of people to make a buck, but also find fault with the notion that only the FDA and heath professionals have a rigorous and impartial information.
How many times the FDA was wrong? how can the countless amount of anecdotal evidence be ignored that shows the effectiveness of body treatments FDA approved medical practitioner or not?
This really shows the attitude that "we are the better and smarter than" some academics seem to have, especially in the face of those who think outside the box when it comes to dieting, health and fitness.
What are your thoughts on the notion that we should consider only health advice from health professionals and FDA? Participating comments and poll below.
Consumers should only consider FDA and Doctor approved treatments and products when dealing with health issues?
